How to run the draft
Set MY SLOT top-left the moment you know your pick. Everything downstream keys off it.
As each pick happens in Yahoo, click that player on the board. He greys out and leaves the pool.
When you pick, shift-click him (or hit DRAFT HIM on a card) so he lands on your roster instead.
Clicked the wrong guy? Click him again to un-draft, or hit UNDO / ⌘Z.
THE CALL on the left re-ranks after every single pick. Top card is the pick; the cards under it are the arguments against.
Right-click two or three players to put them side by side — that is the "who do I take out of these three" question, answered.
Click any name to open his dossier: real 2025 numbers, projected usage, why the number is what it is.
Reading the numbers
PROJ — projected 2026 points in CDL scoring, not standard PPR. Built from measured usage, not pundit guesses.
VOR — points above a freely-available replacement at that position. This is the real currency of a draft.
EDGE — how far he is falling past his market price. Big positive = the room is asleep.
THE CALL blends VOR with the odds he survives to your next pick. Taking a player you could have had two rounds later is how drafts are lost.
Is this board actually any good?
It was tested, not assumed. The identical model was rebuilt using
only information that existed before Week 1 of 2025 — 2024 stats, August 2025 depth charts, 2025 preseason
ADP — then asked to project 2025. Graded against what players actually scored in CDL rules:
Rank correlation with reality
board +0.59 vs market ADP +0.48
Average rank error
board 40.8 vs market ADP 45.7
Top-36 hit rate
board 61% vs market ADP 47%
Where the edge comes from: the board knows what a point is
worth in this league — 6-point passing TDs, a full point per reception, 6 for a 50-yard field goal, yards-allowed tiers stacked on
points-allowed. Market ADP is priced for standard scoring. Where the market is still better is ranking players within one position,
because it hears camp news the numbers cannot see. So 25% of the within-position order is borrowed from the market — that weight was
chosen by backtest, not by taste. The EDGE column shows you every place the two disagree.
